Learn about Place-Based Giving schemes |
Place-based giving schemes (PBGS) are a means of fostering local philanthropy, increasing investment in local communities, and supporting the development of local places. They bring together residents, philanthropists, corporate donors, public sector organisations, and civil society organisations to raise money and address local priorities. On the webinar we’ll share research findings and insight from our partnership with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport on the Growing Place-Based Giving Schemes project. We’ll also discuss the role place-based giving has played in the community response to COVID-19 and what role it can play in the future. Join us to learn how this approach has the potential to transform communities. Speakers include: Civil Society Minister Baroness Barran Rhodri Davies, Head of Policy, CAF James Banks, CEO, London Funders Sue Turner, CEO, Quartet Community Foundation |
