Finance Officer – 15 hours per week, £10,811 (£27,027 full time equivalent)

Transformation CPR is a charity covering the Camborne, Pool, Redruth area. Established in 2010 we now have 3 Foodbanks running across the CPR area and almost 70 volunteers supporting our operation.

Over the past 3 years the charity has been through a period of sustained growth. In 2023 we provided:

· 156,995 meals (13,083 meals per month)

· 150 families with access to £23,357 crisis funding

· 300 Christmas Hampers to families and households most in need

· Over 1,100 wrapped Christmas gifts for children and young people

Working within our team of 17 staff, this key role supports the Chief Operating Officer with finance and general administration. This includes:

Finance duties – Bookkeeping, purchasing and payment of bills, full payroll administration, donor enquiries and gift aid submissions, grant administration, ongoing deployment of finance software, budgeting and finance reporting.

General administration – documenting finance and data procedures/policies, maintenance of Charity asset register, responding to email and telephone enquiries alongside the office team.

The successful applicant will have:

o A track record of success in a finance role

o First class book-keeping skills – including relevant finance training and qualifications (preferred – Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping)

o IT skills; MS Outlook, Word, Excel

o Proficient use of finance software/financial record-keeping packages (preferred – proficient in QuickBooks)
