Do you have a passion to see young people given the opportunity to discover and grow in Christian faith?
We are looking for someone who:
- Has some experience working with young people and is keen to keep developing relevant skills.
- Can be available on one or two evenings a week. Sunday and Tuesday evening is when our youth groups meet at present.
- Either has undergone theological training or is eager to engage in theological training.
- Is willing to lead by example, and also equip and support others.
- The role involves being part of a close-knit staff team across Trinity Church, with monthly supervision, training provision as appropriate, and regular staff meetings.
As the post is based within a gospel-teaching Christian church, the post-holder will be required to understand and appreciate the Christian faith in order to carry out the role, and a DBS check will be required as the post-holder will be working with young people.
Hours: 10 hours per week, spread across a few days. Working days are negotiable.
This post is initially for one year with the expectation that a similar paid youth work role will continue after this time.
