We are currently in the setting up stages for Employment Plus in Cornwall, based at The Salvation Army’s in Redruth, Penzance, Hayle, Falmouth, Newquay, St Austell, and Liskeard.
We specialise in helping people into employment by offering free, voluntary, practical, and tailored support in all areas of employability like CV’s, job searching, interview prep, application form completion, creating covering and speculative letters, skills health checks and confidence building.
This list is not exhaustive, and we will tailor our help and support to the individual’s needs. Alongside this we also offer a wide range of online Training, including IT, food safety and manual handling to name a few. We also support with Well-being & Lifeskills, and In-Work-Support if the client needs that extra support once they have found a job.
The employability programme we run is funded by the Salvation Army directly, so we can work alongside multiple other agencies, which means the client can get the extra support, if they need it. – The support we offer is open to anyone with the only criteria being that they are over 18 years of age.
