Welcome to Refugee Week! Join us at the beautiful Princess Pavilion for the afternoon and evening, celebrating the resilience and contributions of our refugee community.

Enjoy delicious food from around the world while visiting our variety of community stalls, including produce and crafts from Syria, Palestine and Ukraine.

Plus our popular Jumble in a Box.

We are delighted to welcome Bristol based Baraka plus the Diabel Cissohko duo as our music for the evening. Tickets to this performance will be priced at £10, £5 or £2 depending on your circumstances.

Both performers will also be doing free workshops on the day.

Music Both Baraka and Diabel Cissokho will be doing one workshop and one performance each at the Pavilion. Plus we have Shallai, the Ukrainian Sunflowers and and Val Baker performing.

Food Feast for Freedom are providing vegetarian meals and child friendly pasta – plus we will have a donations table. If you are able to donate a cake or savoury for the food stall, please let me know.

School workshops Falmouth Secondary plus Marlborough, Falmouth and King Charles Primary schools will be taking part in workshops. 

Stalls 12 community/cake/craft stalls are confirmed for but we have space for a couple more. Please let me know any groups you think would be interested – including refugee groups or individuals who would like to sell goods.

Cornwall Bicycle Project will be running a session and possibly donating bikes on the day

12-6pm Jumble, craft and food stalls trading.
4-6pm Music workshops with Diabel Cissokho and Baraka
5-7pm Feast for Freedom serve vegetarian hot food plus child friendly pasta
4pm Shallal
5pm Ukrainian Sunflowers
6pm Val Baker
