Huge thanks to all the volunteers, chaplains and visitors who once again made our stand ‘Sanctuary’ a place of rest and refreshment during the three very busy – and this year mostly dry! – days of Cornwall’s premier agricultural show. The pre-show service on Wed 5th was well attended and well received, as was the pasty reception afterwards! The new-style tent proved adaptable and hospitable – we have learnt a few lessons for next year, including precautions we need to make if the weather is less kind, but it does provide us with an economically-viable solution going forward, following very large price increases on the traditional marquees. Many good conversations with friends old and new were had, and as ever we look forward to doing it all again next year! Meanwhile do come and see us again at the Royal Cornwall Showground for the Wellspring Celebration 23 Jun and Creation Fest 1-4 Aug – see you then!
