Would you like to volunteer in a fun and social environment? Dwell Cafe Project at Highway Church Penryn are looking for volunteers in our Café

– Location: Highway Community Centre, Church Road, Penryn, Cornwall, TR10 8DA

– Opening hours once café volunteers are secured: Tuesday to Friday: 9:30am to 4:30pm

– About Dwell Cafe: Dwell is a community project that offers a welcoming and friendly environment. It’s a place where the community can connect over cake and coffee or dishes from our full menu. We host various sessions, including; Acorns – our toddler group, Simply Dwell & Play and Dwell with Foodbank. We have a commercial kitchen, barista coffee machine, play frame, baby sensory room, community wardrobe and a pool and air hockey table. All funds raised through Dwell café are used to support our Foodbank clients

– Volunteer Opportunities – whether you’re interested in supporting the kitchen staff, creating beautiful coffee as a barista, or helping out in other ways, there’s a role for you

– Shifts: Dwell Cafe urgently needs volunteers to cover shifts either 9:30am to 1pm, 1pm to 4:30pm or ALL Day Tuesday to Friday, so that we can open more regularly.

– Skills and Qualifications: Volunteers have the opportunity to learn new skills and earn qualifications in food hygiene, all volunteers will also be DBS checked.

– Over the age of 15? This is a brilliant way of starting work experience in a fun and supportive environment.
